The Bund
The Bund is the most well-known view in the oriental metropolis Shanghai, and is a must-visit for sightseeing in Shanghai. Bordering the Huangpu River to the east, it houses 52 buildings of dierent architectural styles such as Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and a fusion of Chinese and Western styles on the west side, thus being referred to as the “Exotic Building Clusters”. Yu Garden
Situated in the Huangpu District in downtown Shanghai, Yu Garden used to be a private garden during the Ming Dynasty. Built in 1559 and fully demonstrating the architectural and design style of classical Chinese gardens, it is a gem amongst the Jiangnan gardens. Nowadays, it has become a popular scenic spot for visitors to Shanghai from home and abroad. The Garden encompasses Exquisite Jade Rock, known as one of the three most famous stones in Jiangnan, and Dianchun Hall, the command post of the Small Swords Society's Uprising in 1853. Next to it are tourist attractions such as the town god's temple and shopping street.
Oriental Pearl Tower
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower ocially opened to the public on November 18, 1994. Situated at the tip of Lujiazui on the bank of Huangpu River in Pudong New Area, and against the backdrop of modern building complex in the Lujiazui locality, it complements the Exotic Building Clusters of the Bund across the river, showing the spectacular view of the international metropolis.
Combining functions such as urban sightseeing, trendy catering, shopping & entertainment, historical exhibits, cruises on the Huangpu River, and exhibition performances, the Oriental Pearl Tower has become a landmark building and a hot scenic spot in Shanghai.


Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
A world-renowned commercial block, Shanghai Nanjing Road was not only he first commercial street erected after the opening of Shanghai to the world, but also the most prosperous commercial street in the Asia-Pacific region before 1949. At that time, as a gathering location of numerous merchants, it led the commercial trends in China and even across the Far East. Moreover, the four major department stores on Nanjing Road have set countless records in the Asian department store industry.
